Belgium vs Tunisia

They’re are not too many uglier bets than betting Tunisia +1.25 here but that is what I am going to do. Belgium I thought were very poor against a dreadful Panama, Tunisia were probably lucky enough to come as close to getting a point vs England so for me both negatives following their opening games. But Tunisia tried I will give them that Belgium did not try and I think they looked like a side who just wanted to do enough to win and I believe they could do the same today.

Tunisia looked much better in the 2nd half on Monday and they can give a Belgium side whose best players are not happy with their manager a proper game of it here. If De Bruyne plays as deep as he did vs Panama that will give them a chance as he had very little impact from such a deep position. Tunisia will probably sit deep and hope to get something on the counter.

Mexico vs South Korea

Mexico defeated defending champions Germany in the first game and will fancy their chances against a Korean side that looked very poor vs Sweden.

The South Koreans failed to involve their better players and were quite fortunate just to come away with a 1-0 loss. I downgraded South Korea a lot after the game on my ratings and I think they are worth opposing here with Mexico who were excellent with Germany. Simply betting Mexico -0.75 as I think South Korea are poor.

Germany vs Sweden

It is hard to believe I am having 2nd thoughts about betting Germany -0.75 v Sweden in a game they need something out of. I think when you’re camp is wrong at the world cup then it must be very difficult to get it back right. At the same time this is a very experienced German team who have been away at many tournaments together and they may have a chance of getting things back on track. I would not be surprised if the odds on a German victory continue to grow on the back of the unrest but I have value now and I am going to say a German win.

Sweden on the other hand will come in here knowing they need just a point in their next 2 games will be enough to move them to the next level. I am tempted to give the goals a go here too, Germany have only kept 1 clean sheet in the past 9 matches they have played and with a line over just over 2.5 goals it is probably worth a go.
