France vs Australia

France face Australia in the opening match of their group tomorrow and France seem extremely short on the face of it, France are a side that have a super side however they look quite short in this match v Australia. The French coach Deschamps has been accused of being conservative depsite having players such as Mbappe, Dembelle and Griezmann at his disposal, it is likely they will win the match but to win by 2 or 3 goals could be a big ask against an Australian side that has solid group of players like Mooy, Jedinak, Rogic, Luongo and the excellent Matt Ryan.

The Australian side will be structured, disciplined and quite physical under the defensive Van Marwijk and it is difficult to see the French liking their style of play. My numbers make Australia a bet and as i also don’t expect them to get hammered so i am going for 2 bets in this match Australia +1.75 and Under 3 goals.

Australia +1.75 min odds 1.93
France v Australia under 3 Goals min odds 1.73

Peru vs Denmark

Peru and Denmark meet in their opening games in Saransk in the Mordovia Arena, neither side has lost a game since 2016 so it could be that we are looking at a draw straight in the eyes here but i am a big fan of this Danish side since they ripped Ireland to shreds in the 2nd leg of of the playoff game winning 5-1 in Dublin. Their main man is the ultra talented Ericksen of Tottenham, while the spurs player is stand out there is more to them than that him which is something some seems to have missed. They have the impressive centre back pairing of Christensen of Chelsea and Kjaer of Sevilla at the back, Schmeichel of Leicesteris a decent keeper, a Solid midfielder in Delaney of Bremen and and the exciting Sisto of Celta Vigo as well Cornelius who caught my eye playing for Atalanta in the Europa league.

Peru on the other hand would not be at the world cup if it was not for being awarded a match v Bolivia 3-0 that they actually lost 2-0, i think people are getting a little carried away with them and although they do have some good players in my opinion they are no where near the strength of the Danes, their main tallies man Guerrero is inspirational figure but he is 34 years of age and has just had a drugs ban lifted on the 31st of May in order to let him play in the world cup. For me this is straight bet on the Danes and i like how we have the -0.25 line at odds against.

Denmark -0.25 Min odds min odds 2.04
