Villarreal vs Liverpool
I am betting Liverpool to do the double over Villarreal in Spain tonight in the 2nd leg of the Champions league semi final, Liverpool rested a lot of players form their starting line-up v Newcastle on Saturday as they cruised to success and should be relatively fresh for this match. They face a Villarreal side who they simply outclassed last week in Liverpool and I can’t see anything else but a win tonight for Klopp’s men. Villarreal have a poor record against Spanish teams in the Champions league with no wins from 6 and I think Liverpool have a great chance of winning again with the way Villarreal will be forced to play which is attacking, as well as that English teams have been superior to Spanish team of late with West Ham knocking Sevilla out of the Europa league while Man City have beaten Real Madrid in the first leg of the other semi final and in a game they should have won by more. I am also betting the over 2.75 goals in this match, 2nd legs are normally by their nature open games and at some point Villarreal will have to open up tonight and while they may grab a goal i expect Liverpool to have too much attacking ability for the Spanish team.Â
