Newell’s Old Boys earned an important point on their visit to Boca Juniors last Saturday when drawing 1-1 thanks to a goal from Cristian Insaurralde just ten minutes from time. Frank Kudelka’s men are unbeaten in their last four league matches (winning two and drawing two) and remain out of the relegation spots with one game in hand, having collected 14 points from 21 on offer. Newell’s have been perfect at home so far, winning all four games.
Banfield is sliding dangerously closer the relegation zone after suffering their fourth defeat in the last six league matches (along with one win and one draw) last Sunday when losing to San Lorenzo 1-0 at home. Coach Julio Cesar Falcioni has not yet resulted in an improved for El Taladro, who remain on seven points in eight weeks. Four of those points have been claimed on away turf as a product of one victory, one draw and two losses.

Huge relegation game for both and I have to take Newell’s at this odds as they are clearly the better team this season and they are coming from a good draw against the leaders Boca.
