St Mirren vs Hibernian
I am betting Hibernian today when they travel to St Mirren, St Mirren played in Europe on Thursday night and it is difficult to know if that is a help or a hindrance but regardless I would have Hibs closer to being favourites for this game, I think they under performed last season massively and they will be hungry to start this season well, they may have actually been the 3rd best team in the league but only showed fleeting glances of that ability and usually found a way to lose to draw games they should have won. In addition St Mirren have lost important full back Ryan Strain to Dundee United pre-season and that is a blow, Hibs have also lost players from last season mainly players going back to their parent clubs namely Fish and Maolida but they have still very good players in Newell, Boyle and Vente and I think they’re value to take the win today with 4 competitive games already played in the league cup.
