Motherwell is surely capable of taking the 3 points against newly-promoted Dundee United, they have beaten 1-0 away to Ross County on Monday night but despite playing well below their expected level they should never have lost the match. Dundee United drew 1-1 against St Johnstone and despite taking the lead and playing much of the match with 10 men they could only take a point in their first match back in the top flight of Scottish football. Motherwell has a young exciting team and while they did not show it the last day I expect it only to be a matter of time before they do and I think they are worth a bet here today.
