Southampton travel to Spurs a side who on Monday just past sacked Jose Mourinho, I expect Tottenham to have a positive reaction and I expect Spurs to field a strong side even with the League cup final v Man City coming up. I suspect that the players will want to provve a point, they had stopped playing for Mourinho weeks ago if not longer and I think they will want to show a good level of performance in this match to show the supporters the manager was holding them back and -0.5 at home at the current odds is worth a bet. Saints restored some pride with a decent performance at the weekend in the FA cup v Leicester City but while i can see them contributing i can’t see them stopping a home win but I am happy to bet the over goals as well as Spurs as I believe this match should be played in an open manner.
