I am betting Southampton here, at this moment in time I don’t think you can say Spurs are putting it all in for the cause, they don’t look to have a proper shape about them, and the scraped by Bulgarian opposition midweek in the Europa League after extra time and only after the Bulgarian team had been reduced to 9 men. In addition to that woeful performance in Bulgaria Spurs looked dreadful against Everton last weekend and easily could have been beaten by more against a number of players who had very little pre-season training. People may expect a reaction after last week and after Mourinho made comments about lazy pressing but that reaction did not come in Bulgaria and I would have serious doubts if we see it today. Betting Southampton is more of an anti-Spurs bet than a pro-Southampton but I think the saints are a decent well-coached side and happy to play them +0.25.
