Southampton can name a full side for this match and I think they can take something from a City side who are not creating or scoring as they have in previous seasons, in previous seasons after this number of games they over double the number of goals this have scored this season, they drew at home to West Brom midweek, interestingly after 89 minutes they had recorded an xG of just 1.59, it was deep in stoppage they started to take chances and in those last 4 minutes they created 3 good chances and ended up with an xG of 2.59. Their opponents are flying high, they currently sit in 3rd place and have only been beaten once in their last 11 matches. For me, I think getting +1.25 for a team sitting in 3rd playing at home is already an attractive proposition and when you consider how poor City have been playing I am certainly happy to bet the Saints +1.25.
