Newcastle vs Southampton

I am betting over 2.5 goals here today, Newcastle’s xG has really improved of late, they look better going forward, they deserved a point at least v Crystal Palace during the week. Southampton were hammered in Manchester 9-0, their heads dropped in the 2nd half off that match and while this may sound a strange thing to say the fact they bounded back from a 9-0 defeat at home to Leicester last season gives me hope that they will eventually do the same after this. I fancy both sides to score here and 2.5 goals is a line that appeals, i think both teams will think they can win this game and we should have a open match and this is why i believe over 2.5 goals is value.
