I am betting Liverpool here today even without their key defender Virgil Van Dijk, I think the market more that takes his absence into consideration and in a game where Liverpool would have been expected to start -2 today given Sheffield United’s poor start to the season, Liverpool are available on the -1.5 at 1.95 currently. I would seriously question Sheffield United a team who have only scored 2 goals all season can trouble a Liverpool, so it is debatable if a defender will have missed that much today against a side who clearly has such issues in front of goals. I think Liverpool are worth a bet here, Thiago should be fit enough to start and Liverpool should control the game and make it difficult for Sheffield United to have the ball for too long and thus won’t be to cause the Liverpool defence too many problems.
