Liverpool vs Everton

I am betting Liverpool -1.25 here when Liverpool host their neighbours Everton tonight, Liverpool have not been good of late, they were totally out played in the league cup final when they were well beaten by Newcastle even though the game only finished 2-1 and Paris ST Germain knocked them out of the Champions league in a tie that was closer than it should have been. However I think they can bounce back here, Everton have a dreadful record at Anfield and bar a win during Covid times when the game was played with no supporters in attendance. Everton have lost their last 7 matches at Anfield with spectators have been present and you have to go back to 1999 to find Everton’s last away win at Anfield played with supporters in attendance. Everton are also missing or have doubts over a number of players for this match, mainly attacking players, key player Iliman Ndiaye has been out since the last Merseyside derby which was played back in the middle of February while Dwight McNeil has been out even longer so even if both players feature it is likely that neither will be fully fit. I think it is a big ask for Everton to get something from this match given their injuries at present and a few weeks off may be the exact tonic Liverpool may have needed, so betting the reds to get the win here.
