I think the under 3 goals is a super bet today in this match and offers excellent value, Liverpool is struggling to create chances in matches at the moment and this makes big line of under 3 very attractive. Looking at Liverpool’s expected goals this season, they have scored 37 goals this season in their 18 matches in the league but the xG (Expected goals) charts show that they have scored nearly 3 more goals than they would have been expected to score from the quality of chance created. Excluding the Palace match Liverpool have scored only 4 goals in their last 6 match, their average xG in those 6 matches works out at 1.38, even adding in the Crystal Palace games their average xG for the 7 games is only 1.6 and in that run of matches they played Crystal Palace, West Brom, Fulham and Newcastle, teams they would have been expected to win and win well but they only picked up 6 points from 12, 1 win and 3 draws. Liverpool have been fine defensively this season even with injuries, it is attacking that has suffered and this is mainly why i like betting a big goal line under 3, they will also face a Burnley side who are well organised and will set in and defend.
