Leicester City v Leeds Utd
Leeds has a new manager after last weekend but it is difficult how American coach Jesse Marsch can improve a team who have looked so poor, they have looked like the worst defensive team in the league for quite some time, they have conceded 5 more goals than the 2nd worst defensive team Norwich and 13 more than the 3rd worst defensive team in Watford which is staggering. For me the coaches’ tactics were exposed due to the fact Kalvin Phillips the star defensive midfielder has been out injured and they have simply no other player than can do the job he does for the team. Leeds have a new manager today but what can he do in just a few days coaching, my guess not a lot, as well as that Leeds probably won’t have Patrick Bamford from the start either today as he only returned to training this week and centre back Diego Llorente is a doubt while captain Liam Cooper is still also out injured along side the before mentioned Kalvin Phillips. Leicester have bounced back lately with Jamie Vardy coming back from injury and he made a difference in a good 2-0 away win against Burnley midweek and I think they can follow that up win a win against hapless Leeds today. I am also betting the over 3 goals, think in time Leeds will play tighter but I don’t expect to see any major changes after just a couple of day work by the new coach and his team, Leicester are still very open and that won’t change and I think there is has been an overreaction to the new Leeds manager coming in I don’t believe Leeds will be as defensively tight as the betting market suggests it may be and as well as that they have injuries to defensive players, betting Over 3 goals to be scored.
