Everton vs Southampton
I am betting Southampton here +0.25 and over 2.25 goals scored, the Saints have won their last 2 matches away to Crystal Palace in the FA cup and then at home to Manchester City in the league cup and the City result was no fluke either it was a deserved victory for the Saints. Everton are on a terrible run, at their last home game they were beaten 4-1 by Brighton, they have not won since the 22nd of October which was 9 games ago, I can’t see how they are such clear favourites and happy to bet Saints +0.25, which is currently odds against here. I am also including the goals as a bet, I think both teams will go for a win here, I think both sides will see this has an opportunity to take a much needed 3 points and the game may play quite open as a result and also a win would ease the pressure on managers. Looking at the hosts 5 of Everton’s last 6 games have featured at least 3 goals in them while the 6th featured 2 goals which would mean only a half loss and against a open side like Southampton I am happy to bet Over 2.25 goals to be scored. When these sides met earlier in the season there was 3 goals in the game and in truth there should have been more.
