Bournemouth vs Liverpool
I am betting Bournemouth here today, both sides have improved of late, Bournemouth since they strengthened their team in the January transfer window have looked much better and Liverpool since players have started coming back to fitness and that has helped an improvement in form for the Merseyside reds. Liverpool won 7-0 last weekend but nearly everything they hit went in, they had 8 shots on target and scored 7 of them, to me up until the 42nd minute United may have even shaded but certainly there was little between the sides until Liverpool scored their first and once they added a 2nd early in the 2nd half they crumbled and towards the end they seemed to give up, I thought it was a flattering score line and a bit of a fluke for Liverpool to score that many. Bournemouth put it a super display away to Arsenal last weekend and it took a wonder strike deep in injury time to allow Arsenal to run out 3-2 winners, they are a much better side, taking their last 6 matches into consideration they would be 10th on the xG charts so their numbers in the past few games have shown they have performed like a side that are closer to what we would expect to see from a mid table team and whilst Liverpool are playing better I’m not sure we can say just yet they are back to their best and I’m happy to bet Bournemouth +1.5 at home with a big handicap.
