I am betting Wolves here today -0.5 as they attempt to close in on European football, there is a strong chance that 5th place may get a Champions League spot due to Manchester City being banned next season from Europe. They travel the short distance to Aston Villa park for this midland derby with a fully fit squad, they are strong at the back keeping 6 of their 7 clean sheets and even when they did concede they still won beating Spurs 3-2. There was probably the one side that needed the break, they have played the most matches of any premier division club this season through their early involvement in Europe and with Nuno Espirito Santo not liking to change his team too much it is easy to say why many believe the break was a blessing in disguise. Villa looked poor v Chelsea and they were lucky to even get within a goal of Chelsea they were slightly the better team v Newcastle but this is their 4th game in just 10 days and I think it is a huge ask, even at a World cup or European championship tournament, teams do not play 4 games in 10 days, they would tend to play 4 games in 14 or 15 days. I think Wolves are the bet they have started after resumption in good form and I think they can continue are value to do so.
