There is not a lot of value in the Premier league today but i believe the under 2.5 goals in this match does actually offer some. This match marks Steven Gerard’s first game in charge, Gerard was known at his previous club, Glasgow Rangers, as a manager who used to keep it tight in matches and if you did not concede you did not lose the match at least. Rangers were a big fish in their league but Villa are not and I think Gerard will be happy to take a point in his first match against a decent Brighton team who are low scorers themselves with their games only averaging 2.18 goals per match, so betting under 2.5 goals.
