Premier League: Arsenal vs Watford Odds for July 26, 2020

Watford need points here or they need Villa to lose by 2 more goals than what Watford lose by but despite Watford having the greater motivation, I am going to bet Arsenal -0.5 here. Mikel Arteta confirmed he will play as strong a team as possible ahead of their match and he has also commented on Watford Striker Troy Deeney’s comments about Arsenal being soft, having no condoned and being windy, it will probably use those comments as motivation. Arsenal lost their last match prior to this game and they won’t want to be going into the cup final next weekend on the back of 2 defeats, so I believe they will be focussed for this match. Watford are in free fall and it is difficult to see how they can go to the likes of Arsenal and pick anything up in their current form, they sacked Nigel Pearson last weekend and morale seems very low with rumours of dressing room bust-ups and players wanting out of the club, betting Arsenal -0.5, I would normally be happy to bet Arsenal -0.75 at odds on, so the extra Motivation for Watford is more than factored into the odds.
