The opening game of the 2019/20 Premier League season takes place tonight, when Liverpool host newly promoted Norwich City, Liverpool should be at full strength with Mane being the only doubt. Neither side have really added to their squad from last season, Norwich signed Ibrahim Amadou from Spanish side Seville but he almost certainly won’t be involved in tonight’s match. I think if you were to pick a time to play Liverpool at Anfield you may see a lot of people choosing tonight, If you cast your mind back to last Sunday Liverpool looked a little off the pace and it was not until City had a number of injuries that Liverpool got on top. As well as that Mane is just back, Salah looked like he needed more game time last weekend and Firminio looked a little off it as well and for much of the match their midfield and especially their captain Henderson was horrific. Of course, it must be stressed they were playing the best team in the league in Man City last weekend but they did not look at their peak and I think given the fact they have to win by 3 and Norwich are a side who can score against them I make Norwich a bet +2.25 at current odds. There should be goals tonight but I am happy just to rely on Norwich +2.25 as my sole bet.
