Both these sides are safe there is a chance that 7th place in the league could get a side into Europe however I am not sure how much of a motivating factor that maybe but I expect both these sides to play largely without fear and I expect to see goals as a result. As we have seen in recent weeks FC Koln have are a good attacking side but they are vulnerable at the back conceding 2 goals to Mainz and 2 goals to Fortuna at the weekend who are 2 of the pooper teams in the league. Koln will face a better attack in the form of Hoffenheim tonight, I think Hoffenheim have been slightly unlucky in their last 2 matches they recorded an expected goal number v Hertha of 2.79 and were beaten 3-0 and only drew v Paderborn despite being expected to score a goal more (0.96 v 1.93) looking at the expected goals numbers from the match. With the pressure off both these sides, I think we will see plenty of goals tonight and I actually think in this league over 3 goals is not that big of a line, the league is simply so open and with both sides games averaging 3.07 goals per game and 3.48 it feels absolutely fine to have a go at this bet.
