Talleres vs Aldosivi

After three consecutive away defeats, Talleres returned to winning ways on the road last Sunday, when beating San Lorenzo 1-0, with Gonzalo Maroni netting the winner in the first half. Juan Pablo Vojvoda’s men have performed irregularly so far and they are sitting in a mid-table spot on 14 points. Talleres are unbeaten in the last four home matches, having earned eight points in that span.

Aldosivi played a terrible performance and succumbed to a heavy blow after a 4-1 home defeat to Banfield last Saturday. As a result, El Tiburon is now on three consecutive losses in the Superliga, which means the newcomers remain on 15 points and should regain their confidence to stay safe from potential relegation threats. To make matters worse, Aldosivi also lost their last three away games without even scoring.
