San Martin de Tucuman vs Argentinos Jrs

San Martin Tucuman seems to be finding trouble when it comes to adapting to life in the top flight. Last Sunday, they played their worst game this season and lost 1-0 at Velez Sarsfield, which means the team are bottom in the relegation table and also are winless with only two points in four league games (with one in hand at Independiente). Coach Ruben Forestello has been dismissed a day after the game. However, El Ciruja collected those points at their own stadium, having drawn with Union Santa Fe and Gimnasia LP.

After three league matches without a defeat (one win, two draws), Argentinos Juniors lost to Boca Juniors 1-0 at home in the last round. It was an even game, but El Bicho were ineffective up front again (the team failed to score in four out of five league games this term). Surprisingly, coach Alfredo Berti resigned a day after the match. Argentinos remain on five points, having earned just one of them on their travels as they lost to Gimnasia LP and drew at River Plate.

It should be a matter of time before San Martin gets their first win of the season and that’s very likely to happen at their own stadium where they are historically strong. Both teams lost their coaches last week so that shouldn’t be a factor, and considering this odds I have to go with home.
