San Lorenzo vs Patronato
San Lorenzo is still winless in the Superliga following their 1-0 away defeat at Godoy Cruz last Sunday as they conceded in stoppage time after an even and intense match. El Ciclon has been unconfident so far as they accumulated only four points (having drawn all their previous league games). At Pedro Bidegain Stadium, the side has shared points with Lanus and River Plate this term.
Patronato is still finding trouble to play without strikers Sebastian Ribas and Adrian Balboa, who joined Lanus and Belgrano respectively. The team haven’t yet scored in the Superliga and made it four consecutive defeats after losing to Gimnasia LP 2-0 at home. Coach Juan Pablo Pumpido resigned after the game. The side also remains bottom in the table with a single point. To make things worse, they are sitting in a relegation spot, five points behind Belgrano who are safe. On away turf, Patronato lost to San Martin SJ and Banfield, both 1-0.
San Lorenzo are finding trouble to win in the league and they will rotate some players in this match due to their upcoming Copa Sudamericana game next week, but I still think they should have enough to overcome Patronato, who are clearly the worst squad at the moment.
