Rosario Central vs Estudiantes

In spite of having taken the first lead through Fernando Zampedri, Rosario Central lost to Atletico Tucuman 2-1 away last time out, which means their winless run in the Superliga has been extended to eight matches (three draws and five losses). That streak includes three games played at Gigante de Arroyito Stadium, with Central earning a single point in that spell. El Canalla accumulates only 12 points with one game in hand. Last Sunday, they beat second-tier side Temperley on penalties and advanced to the Copa Argentina final.

Rosario Central are finding trouble to win in the league and they won’t have their best midfielder, Nestor Ortigoza, due to suspension, so I expect Estudiantes to continue their good run and take something from this game.
