Wales vs Iran
I am betting Iran +0.25 here, the market has moved in their favour but i still have value on them, Iran were dreadful in their opening match v England but there was a number of things that went wrong quite early on for them, namely losing their goalkeeper through injury. They now face a Welsh side that i continue to have real doubts over and I believe Iran are value to get a result in this match. For all that went wrong for Iran they still managed to score twice v England and only for a Pickford making a wonder save in the England goal they could have added a 3rd. Wales were dreadful in the first half against the USA, they brought on centre forward Kieffer Moore at half time who made a massive difference to them, the States struggled to deal with Moore and Wales came into the game after not being in it in the first half and eventually scored late on with a penalty from Bale. The Welsh look again to be without central midfielder Joe Allen whilst both Ramsey and Bale, who hardly playing this season are being asked to play another high intensity game for the 2nd time in 4 days and I don’t believe they have the legs to so. In addition, there are further negatives for the Welsh in that the game will kick off at 1pm which is probably the hottest part of the day and with the temperature up at 30 degrees, I think the Welsh may find it difficult so betting Iran +0.25.
