Manchester City vs Arsenal
I am betting Arsenal +0.5 and under 3 goals scored here in a game what many refer to as the traditional English season opener, the community shield. Manchester City who won the treble last season are usually very much undercooked at this stage of the season, last season they really only came into themselves for the last few months and were unstoppable but before that were dropping points to some of the poorer teams in the league. I think City will do the same this season and I can see Arsenal being more motivated for this game and may want to put down a marker for the season by beating last season’s treble winners. City are still without Kevin De Bruyne which is a massive loss for them while Gabriel Jesus is missing for Arsenal both those absentees will help the under goal bet as does the fact the game is being played in a neutral venue of Wembley but I fancy Arsenal just to edge this.
