Copa Sudamericana: Tigre (Argentina) – Alianza Atletico (Peru) Odds for May 28, 2026

Tigre (Argentina) – Alianza Atletico (Peru)

Tigre were unable to hold onto a lead that would have given them a huge boost in their fight to stay alive in the Copa Sudamericana, eventually drawing 1–1 away to América de Cali. As a result, they remain third in Group A with six points and can now only aspire to finish second and reach the playoff round. To do so, they must win their match and hope the Colombians fail to defeat CS Macará.

Already eliminated from Copa Sudamericana contention — and rotating heavily as a consequence — Alianza Atlético Sullana earned a valuable goalless draw away to Group A leaders CS Macará. As a result, they now have two points from five matches and will finish bottom of the group. On Sunday, the team drew 1–1 at home against FC Cajamarca and remain eighth in the Peruvian Liga 1 standings with 21 points from 16 matches.

Tigre are in terrible form but this is a game they should win. The peruvian team will go to Argentina with a lineup full of reserves because they are eliminated from this competition, while Tigre must win and hope that America de Cali won’t win at Ecuador in the other game of the group so I don’t expect them to have any trouble to take the 3 points they need.
