Copa Sudamericana: Racing (Argentina) – Bragantino (Brazil) Odds for April 10, 2024

Racing (Argentina) – Bragantino (Brazil)

Racing Club haven’t found any difficulties in the Copa Sudamericana opening week as they managed an easy 2-0 away success at Paraguay’s Sportivo Luqueno thanks to goals from Adrian Martinez and Roger Martinez. On Sunday, La Academia also beat Lanus 2-0 at home to keep their hope alive in the Copa Liga Profesional: they are now sitting in fifth spot of the group B table on 21 points, one behind Boca Juniors by one. Gustavo Costas’ men are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions (four victories and one draw). The aforementioned victory also allowed them to stop a three-match winless run of one stalemate and two defeats as the hosting side.

Red Bull Bragantino took advantage of Vitinho’s goal in the first half to secure a hard-fought 1-0 home victory over Chilean side Coquimbo Unido to manage their first three points in the Copa Sudamericana. A Massa Bruta haven’t seen any action last weekend as they were knocked out of the Sao Paulo State Championship in the semi-finals, losing 3-1 to Santos FC at Corinthians SC. Pedro Caixinha’s men won only one of their last four competitive matches, along with one draw and two defeats, and also are holding a two-match losing streak as visitors.

Racing won’t have playmaker Juanfer Quintero, their best player, who had to travel to Colombia due to personal issues, and they have a must win game next weekend in the league where if they don’t get the 3 points they will miss the playoffs, so I can’t imagine them being 100% focused here and I expect the visitors to at least avoid a defeat.
