Huachipato (Chile) – Racing (Argentina)

Racing Club skipped the playoff thanks to their convincing 3-0 home success over Sportivo Luqueno at Lanus, finishing at the top of the group H table on 15 points, advantaging Red Bull Bragantino by two. On Friday, La Academia succumbed to a surprising 1-0 home defeat to Gimnasia LP, which prevented them from becoming Liga Profesional leaders. They remain on 17 points after ten rounds, trailing table toppers Huracan by three. On a positive note, Gustavo Costas’ men remain into the Copa Libertadores’ zone in the aggregate table after winning only one of the last four (one draw and two losses). Racing remain winless in the last three on the road, drawing one and losing two.

Can’t see Huachipato worried about this game when they are in the relegation zone of the chilean league and only 1 win in their last 9 games. Racing has been irregular lately but they’ll have a full lineup available here as they focused on this tournament and want to recover fast from a bad result in the league last week, and as I rate them as a much better team than the hosts who can’t even play at their own stadium, I’ll go with the away win.
