Copa Libertadores: Nacional (Colombia) vs Patronato (Argentina) odds for June 27, 2023

Nacional (Colombia) vs Patronato (Argentina)

Atletico Nacional have been displaced from the top spot of the Copa Libertadores’ group H table after losing 3-0 away at Olimpia. The team are now second-placed on ten points, trailing their last opponents by one, but they also are already qualified for the round-of-16 as they lead third-placed Melgar by six points with one round to go. On Saturday, the team lost the Colombia Torneo Apertura final on penalties after drawing 1-1 away at Millonarios (1-1 on aggregate). However, El Paisa lost only one of their last 11 competitive matches in regular time, winning four and drawing six. At home, Nacional are on nine games unbeaten, with six wins and three draws.

Patronato succumbed to a heavy blow in their last Copa Libertadores match, losing 5-0 away at FBC Melgar in Peru in round five, when they could have suffered a heavier rout. As a result, they are now bottom-placed in group H on three points, trailing their last opponents by one in the fight to advance to the Copa Sudamericana playoff. On Saturday, El Patron ended up losing 2-1 away at San Martin SJ, which places them in 12th spot in the second-tier group A rankings on 25 points in 21 matches. In fact, Patronato lost four of their last six matches in all competitions, along with one win and one draw. On the road, they took a single point from the last 18 available in all competitions.

Even if Nacional are already in the next round, they will go for the win to try to secure the 1st place of the group, and they should be too much for this Patronato that are struggling in Argentina’s 2nd division.
