Junior got their first win in this Copa Libertadores last week when they visited another Ecuadorian team, Barcelona, but things should be even tougher here as they face the Copa Sudamericana 2019 champions who have been cruising so far in this tournament with 3 wins in 3 games, 11 goals scored and none conceded, and they are coming from one of their most important wins ever in a 5-0 astonishing result against the defending champions Flamengo.
But the Colombians, who have a new coach after their historical one Julio Comesaña resigned a couple of weeks ago, won’t have their two best strikers: Teofilo Gutierrez, their historical goalscorer, is injured and Miguel Angel Borja reached the limit of yellow cards.
