Copa Libertadores resumes this week as SouthAmerica tries to go back to normal during the COVID era, and the reality of the football leagues in the continent is very different; while some countries like Brazil barely stopped for a couple of months and have resumed playing their tournaments long ago, others like Bolivia still didn’t start and don’t even have an exact date, what means that the difference in form of this two clubs has to be huge: while the hosts will play their first game in 6 months, Atletico Paranaense has played over 15 competitive games since mid-July.
The only thing that makes the hosts favourite here is the altitude factor (their stadium is at 2600 meters above sea level), but the Brazilian side should be able to downplay it given their better form and take at least a useful draw from this match.
