Copa Libertadores: Huracan (Argentina) vs Boston River (Uruguay) odds for March 01, 2023

Huracan (Argentina) vs Boston River (Uruguay)

Huracan had to settle for an unlucky 0-0 away draw against CA Boston River at Estadio Centenario last Wednesday, when they wasted several goalscoring chances. On Sunday, coach Diego Dabove fielded a completely alternative XI in league action, drawing 1-1 away at Colon. As a result, El Globo made it 11 points in five matches in the Liga Profesional, trailing leaders Talleres, Defensa y Justicia, Lanus and San Lorenzo by just one. Overall, Huracan are on seven matches unbeaten in all competitions, having won four and drawn three. At home, they have been almost perfect lately, with nine wins and one draw across their last ten matches.

Meanwhile, CA Boston River fought hard to keep a clean sheet playing as hosts against Huracan last week and managed to keep it scoreless. On Sunday, they succumbed to a 3-2 away defeat at Deportivo Maldonado, with coach Daniel Farias fielding a mixed lineup. The team are occupying 13th spot out of 16 teams in the Uruguayan Torneo Apertura on three points after four rounds. In fact, Boston are on three matches without a win in all competitions, drawing one and losing two (both on the road since beating Venezuela’s Zamora 1-0 away two weeks ago).

Huracan is the clear favorite but I expect another tight game here, like the scoreless draw of the 1st leg, as the visitors won’t take any risks and will try to keep a close game.
