Copa Libertadores: Bolivar (Bolivia) – Independiente Rivadavia (Argentina) Odds for May 27, 2026

Bolivar (Bolivia) – Independiente Rivadavia (Argentina)

Club Bolívar missed the chance to secure qualification for the Copa Libertadores round of 16 last week after suffering a hard-fought 2–1 defeat away to Fluminense. La Academia remain second in Group C with five points, but now only thanks to the head-to-head tiebreaker that keeps them above their last opponent. As a result, they need to win on Wednesday to advance without depending on any other result. The team had the weekend off after their match against Guabirá was postponed due to roadblocks and social unrest in La Paz. In fact, they will have to move their home venue to Santa Cruz de la Sierra for Wednesday’s match.

Independiente Rivadavia returned to their usual form last Thursday, comfortably defeating Deportivo La Guaira 4–2 away from home. As a result, La Lepra — who had already secured qualification for the Copa Libertadores round of 16 — confirmed first place in Group C, collecting 13 points from a possible 15, and are now chasing the chance to finish as the best-performing group winner overall. After a free weekend following their elimination from the Argentine Torneo Apertura in the round of 16, Independiente have lost just one of their last 13 matches across all competitions, recording nine wins and three draws.

Independiente Rivadavia has already secured the 1st place of the group but Bolivar will need a win to go through, so I expect to see an open game between a relaxed team and another one who must win because a draw is the same as a defeat.
