First away game for the Bolivian side since March when football was stopped, and considering their local league hasn’t resumed yet it can be said that the results they’ve got have been decent: a 2-3 defeat at home against the same Brazilian team they are facing today, and a 3-1 win against Peñarol.
However, it should be a different story here as they won’t have one of their biggest assets: the altitude of Cochabamba, the city where they play at home.
Their record at Brazil is a terrible 0 wins, 1 draw and 9 defeats so it’s obvious that things don’t look good for them against this Atletico team that won 4 games in a row and according to their new coach, they want to win this one as well because winning the group would give them home advantage in the next round and that is very important for them.
I expect an open game here like two weeks ago when they met and Atletico won 3-2, so I can imagine goals probably by both sides again.
