I am betting Colombia -1.5, I have a lot of value on Colombia today I think they’re a very good team and should take the 3 points with some ease here, they face a Costa Rica side who bravely battled to a shock point of Brazil despite the betting markets making Costa Rica a +2.5 underdog. Costa Rica’s 0-0 draw v Brazil was a lucky result, they faced a barrage of pressure and their goalkeeper made some brilliant saves during the 90 minutes, he will need to be as good tonight if they are to stop Colombia. Costa Rica are mainly made up domesticly based players and players who play in the smaller leagues in Europe such as Greece, Cyprus, Scotland, Russia and the English 3^rd tier. Colombia on the other hand have players at some top clubs in Europe and South America and given the gulf in class I can’t see anything other than at least a 2 goal margin win tonight so happy to take the bigger odds on the -1.5 handicap line. I would normally include the overs as a bet but i think Costa Rica will do well to score and it would mean Colombia having to do all the scoring themselves so I would rather just have a little more on Colombia -1.5.
