We see another top team v relegation-threatened team fixture here and very much like the previous 2 games i am betting the underdog, Fortuna Dusseldorf +2 and the under goals which the line is 3.5 goals to be scored, it’s the same reasoning as the Werder Bremen v Bayern and Dortmund v Mainz games, that the underdog will probably only chase the game until 2-0 if they are losing in my opinion. Fortuna was very unlucky to lose to Dortmund with a 95th-minute goal from Haaland being the deciding moment, they easily could have taken the 3 points themselves and that performance should give them heart going into the RB Leipzig match who are pretty much qualified for the Champions League for next season 6 points ahead of Gladbach and 25 goals better goal difference with just the 3 games left to play. They will probably want to have it wrapped up before they play Dortmund on Saturday but this could mean them settling for a narrow win. I thought Leipzig were lucky to win by 2 goals on Friday night v Hoffenheim, the expected goals from that game were Hoffenheim 1.76 v Leipzig’s 1.37 and most of that expected goal tally for Leipzig expected goals happened in the 2nd half when Hoffenheim was pushing for a goal and leaving themselves open at the back, in fact despite the score reading 0-2 at half time to Leipzig the expected goals were 0.98 for Hoffenheim to Leipzig’s 0.65 which illustrated they were fortunate to be leading and especially by 2 goals. Fortuna nullified Dortmund in their game on Saturday and while this is more difficult, they have to take some confidence from the performance. Going for Fortuna + 2 and under 3.5 goals
