Arsenal vs Sarmiento
Sarandi Arsenal remain as the worst team of the season following their 2-1 away defeat at Aldosivi last Monday, when they conceded with just one minute to go. Israel Damonte’s men are on five league matches without a win, having drawn two and lost three since beating Lanus in round 13. As a result, they remain on 13 points, sharing the bottom spot of the league table with CA Central Cordoba, and have dropped down to the 22nd place of the relegation table. At home, Arsenal won only one of their last seven league games, drawing four and losing two.
Meanwhile, Sarmiento managed a much-needed 2-1 home success over Newell’s Old Boys last Monday, with Jonathan Torres and Luciano Gondou finding the back of the net. Therefore, the team made it three victories and one draw across their last five league matches (along with a single defeat) to accumulate 23 points in the Liga Profesional, which allows them to climb into 19th spot of the relegation table. Furthermore, Mario Sciacqua’s men are on five away matches unbeaten, having won one and drawn four in that spell.
I’m going to trust Sarmiento here as they are definitely in much better form than this terrible Arsenal.
