Velez vs Rosario Central
Velez Sarsfield are yet to find their best version under recently-appointed boss Alexander Medina. Last Thursday, the team were dominated from beginning to end end succumbed to a 2-0 away defeat to Racing Club, which means they remain winless in the Liga Profesional, having registered one draw and two defeats and sitting in the penultimate spot with a single point.
Under interim boss German Rivarola, Rosario Central took a little breather last Thursday, when beating Godoy Cruz 1-0 at home thanks to a penalty netted by Gaspar Servio. Therefore, El Canalla managed their first victory in the Liga Profesional to make it four points in three games. In fact, the team lost only one of their last four league games, winning two and drawing one in that spell.
Central will have the debut of their new coach Carlos Tevez, I can imagine them extra motivated to attack but their defense is nothing special so I expect an open game here between two teams that need wins.
