Velez – Huracan

Velez Sarsfield wasted a big chance of improving their league campaign last Wednesday, when they ended up drawing 2-2 away at Lanus despite leading on both occasions and playing against ten men for around 30 minutes. Therefore, El Fortin extended their winless streak to five Liga Profesional games, drawing three and losing two. Alexander Medina’s men accumulated only seven points in nine rounds so far.

Huracan had to settle for a scoreless home draw against Godoy Cruz in a hard-fought match last Wednesday.
