Argentine Primera Division: Tigre vs Talleres Odds for July 2, 2022

Tigre vs Talleres

Tigre extended their winless streak to four league matches (two stalemates and two defeats) last Sunday, when they drew 1-1 away at San Lorenzo in an entertaining game. El Matador earned five points in as many matches in the Liga Profesional, which places them in the 12th spot of the aggregate table (which will likely them for the Copa Sudamericana). At home, Diego Martinez’s men also are on four without a win, having drawn two and lost two since beating Huracan 2-1 in April.

Talleres remain as one of the worst teams of the 2022 league season (bottom in the aggregate table) following their 2-0 home defeat to CA Central Cordoba. The team are on four league games without a win, drawing one and losing three, and earned only four points in five matches in the Liga Profesional. To make matters worse, La T haven’t claimed any victories in their last nine away domestic matches, with two draws and seven defeats since beating Sarmiento 2-1 in December 2021.

Midweek Talleres drew at home 1-1 vs Colon in the Copa Libertadores Round of 16 so with the return leg in a few days, they will use a lineup full of reserves here and should be a great opportunity for Tigre to win again.
