Talleres vs Velez
Talleres played a worthy game on their visit to Banfield in round 11 but they weren’t able to convert any of their chances. However, the scoreless away stalemate allowed them to extend an unbeaten streak to five Copa Liga Profesional matches (winning two and drawing three in that spell). On away turf, Velez managed seven points from the last nine on offer.
Talleres has no choice but to win here, a draw won’t be the worst result but would leave them at least two points from the playoffs zone with only 2 rounds left so they need to go for all or nothing. They have a top 3 attack in the league with 20 goals scored and getting at least 1 in 10 of their last 11 games, so with Velez needing to avoid a defeat as well this should be an open game once one of them scores.
