Talleres vs Estudiantes
Talleres are now in the top places following their 2-1 away victory at Argentinos Juniors thanks to goals from Enzo Diaz and Michael Santos. The team have been unbeaten in their last five matches in this competition (drawing one and winning four in a row). Alexander Medina’s men (who also approached the Copa Libertadores’ places in the 2021 aggregate table) haven’t lost any of their last seven home matches in domestic action, registering four victories and three draws since losing to Velez Sarsfield 1-0 in March.
Estudiantes also are one top temas in the league with 16 points thanks to their 2-0 home success over San Lorenzo last Thursday, with Nicolas Pasquini and Matias Pellegrini finding the back of the net. Ricardo Zielinski’s men, unbeaten in the last five league matches (four victories and one draw) also climbed into second place in the 2021 aggregate table, which would allow them to take part in the Copa Libertadores next year.
Both are solid teams, that’s why they are fighting for the championship so that’s why I can’t understand why the odds on the hosts are so high.
