Talleres vs Boca

Talleres showed great improvements in their last game to secure an important 2-0 away success at Atletico Tucuman with Francisco Pizzini and Nahuel Bustos scoring. Javier Gandolfi’s men grabbed their first three points in the Liga Profesional and also made it three victories and one draw across their last five league matches (along with one defeat in that spell). On a sorry note, La T lost their last home game to Independiente, which broke a three-match unbeaten streak of two wins and one stalemate at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes. Winger Diego Valoyes is set to return after succumbing to a mild muscle problem shortly before the last game.

Boca Juniors showed a poor performance last Sunday and had to settle for a scoreless home draw against CA Central Cordoba, with goalkeeper Sergio Romero saving a penalty in the second half. The defending champions are now on four points after two rounds in the Liga Profesional, trailing leaders Huracan, Lanus and Godoy Cruz by two. On a positive note, El Xeneize have been unbeaten in their last four league games, with two wins and two draws in that time.

Talleres might be unreliable yet but this Boca keeps playing really bad. They were lucky not to lose at home against the poor Central Cordoba who missed a penalty, so I can imagine them having problems against this Talleres that will have Diego Valoyes back in attack.
