Argentine Primera Division: Talleres vs Atletico Tucuman Odds – Dec 19, 2020

Talleres put an end to their three-match winless run of two draws and one defeat in the best possible way: they beat San Lorenzo (who hadn’t lost in this competition) 2-0 away last Saturday to take their first three points in the Fase Campeonato. At home, the team have been unbeaten in the last six games, winning four and drawing two since losing to Boca Juniors 2-1 in February.

Atletico Tucuman is no longer perfect in the Copa Liga Profesional. After winning all six matches in the first stage, the team deflated their performance and lost 2-0 to Banfield in the Fase Campeonato opener. Now they will seek to return to winning ways on away turf, where they clinched nine points from nine available so far. Atletico Tucuman right back Marcelo Ortiz is suspended after seeing a red card against Banfield while his usual replacement Gustavo Toledo is out injured.

With Talleres coming from a great away win and Atletico in a must-win situation, I have to expect both to go forward to get what they need.
