Argentine Primera Division: Talleres – Boca Odds for April 2, 2026

Talleres – Boca

Talleres are gradually rediscovering their level. Two weeks ago, they produced a strong performance away to Independiente, coming from behind to secure a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Augusto Schott and Valentín Dávila. As a result, Carlos Tevez’s side are now unbeaten in four league matches — two wins and two draws — and have collected 18 points in the Torneo Apertura, strengthening their position inside the playoff qualification spots in Group A. At home, they have taken seven of the last nine points available, recording two wins and one draw.

Boca Juniors showed clear improvement in their most recent league outing, which proved enough to secure a 2-0 home win over Instituto thanks to goals from Tomás Aranda and Adam Bareiro. As a result, they have extended their unbeaten run to seven league matches, although only two of those have been wins alongside five draws. Claudio Úbeda’s side have reached 17 points in the Torneo Apertura, sitting sixth in Group A and inside the playoff qualification spots. As the visiting side, they have taken four points from four matches — one win, one draw and two defeats. Goalkeeper Agustín Marchesín suffered a serious muscle tear against Instituto and is expected to be sidelined for several months. Santiago Ascacíbar and Exequiel Zeballos will miss at least one more match due to their respective injuries.

Too many important missings for Boca, key midfielders Ascacibar and Zeballos are out, goalkeeper Marchesin as well and team captain, veteran Leandro Paredes, played with the Argentina NT on Tuesday, so I definitely think that Talleres shouldn’t lose here.
