San Lorenzo – Talleres

San Lorenzo wasted a 2-0 lead last Wednesday and settled for a devastating 2-2 home draw against Union Santa Fe after conceding the equaliser in the 95th minute. El Ciclon remain performing irregularly in the Liga Profesional, having accumulated 12 points in nine matches after claiming a single victory across their last five (along with three stalemates and one loss in that span). The team continue far away from the continental places in the aggregate table. At home, San Lorenzo have been unbeaten in their last six games, but they won only one of those and drew five.

Meanwhile, Talleres finally put an end to their seven-match winless streak of two draws and five defeats in league action last Thursday, when they beat Banfield 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Diego Valoyes in the first half. However, Pedro Caixinha’s men still need to improve: they accumulated only eight points in the Liga Profesional and 19 in the whole season, which places them bottom in the 2022 aggregate table. Furthermore, Talleres are on 11 away games without a win in domestic commitments, having drawn three and lost eight since beating Sarmiento 2-1 in December.

San Lorenzo was close to win again last week, they’ve been solid so far this season and at this odds I think they are worth a bet against the very irregular Talleres that can’t win away since last year.
