Rosario Central vs Talleres
Rosario Central left good impressions on their visit to San Lorenzo last Saturday, but they eventually registered a 1-1 away draw. As a result, El Canalla won only one of their last six matches in the Liga Profesional, drawing two and losing three, which means they accumulated 19 points in 16 games so far. Following this irregular campaign, the team are almost out of aims for the remainder of the season.
Talleres recorded a 1-1 home stalemate against Racing Club last Saturday, with Diego Valoyes netting the equaliser in the second half. La T continue producing a poor Liga Profesional, having managed only 15 points in as many games (they have one in hand against Union Santa Fe) after four without a win (three stalemates and one loss). In fact, Pedro Caixinha’s men are sharing the bottom spot in the aggregate table with Lanus. Talleres remain winless on away turf in 2022 in domestic action, having drawn five and lost nine so far.
Rosario Central is not a reliable team but neither is this Talleres that suffers a lot on the road and are at the bottom of the season table, so I can’t see why they would be favorites.
