Rosario Central vs Platense
Rosario Central seem unable to overcome their irregularity. Last Tuesday, the team left good impressions on their visit to Patronato, but they couldn’t convert any of their opportunities and registered a scoreless away draw. As a result, they are on three league games without a win (two stalemates and one defeat). El Canalla have produced an irregular campaign in the Liga Profesional, accumulating 24 points so far.
Platense put up a good fight against Racing Club last Sunday, but they were ineffective up front and ended up losing 1-0 at home. El Calamar claimed a single victory across their last four league games (drawing one and losing two), but they are still producing a remarkable campaign in the Liga Profesional: the team accumulated 29 points in 20 games, which means Omar De Felippe’s men are close to securing their top-flight status for next season.
Platense comes from an unlucky defeat at home vs Racing so even if they are not that solid when playing away, I’ll trust them to get something from this poor Rosario Central.
